Our corporate Health and Safety team is tasked with the following:

Putting together performance thresholds, developing elevated policy specifications, minimum standards, and yearly plans for progressive growth Providing pointers and assurance of site-level implementation of health and safety management practices Observance and continuous communicating health and safety performance, trends and standard practices. All workers, whether Vertsen Energy or works on contract are required to support the Health and Safety Programme by frenetically partaking in all training, reporting all precarious conditions and ensuring they and their fellow workers follow all protective etiquettes and safe work protocols.

We provide a range of Well Engineering services from Design through to Specialised Engineering tasks utilising the latest engineering software. Our Drilling Management Services uses industry recognised software as part of its well design process, together with drilling risk analysis tools, to analyze technical and commercial drilling risks. Our continuous exposure to an evolving industry ensures that our clients have access to the latest technology.

Our topmost preoccupation is to ensure the protection, welfare and well-being of every worker and contractor who renders service for and on behalf of us. We maintain an all-important regiment to ensure the safety and health of all employees at all of our work sites. Compliance is a prerequisite for personnel.

  Group Ceo & Founder
  FAYAD MAHAMA, is the founder and C.E.O of Vertsen Group Limited. Fayad Mahama graduated with a BSC Degree in Business Administration and Management and Masters in International Business from the University of Louisville, Kentucky USA. He has had over 7 years' experience in Construction and Business Management.

He has been involved in the design development to construction phase of modern residential houses and Apartments and a long list of construction projects in Ghana and has more experience to put under his belt.  He is continuously learning the design and construction methods as he works to keep himself well-informed and up to date. He worked at Kilimanjaro Enterprises in Louisville, Louisville metro Works and Dubtel Communication after graduation. He is a founding member for all (4) Africa Foundation in Louisville, Kentucky (USA), an advocacy group focused in raising aid to poor Africa countries. He also graduated from Henley Putnam program of intelligence, and counterterrorism protection in 2010.

An outgoing communicator with driven work ethics, proven abilities in team leadership and interaction with people at all levels to accomplish results. He has attended several Management trainings both in United States and the United Kingdom.He also doubles as the CEO of Amana, Undaglow Group, Frontier Security Services Limited and AFS Engineers and Contractors. Fayad Mahama is currently the country Manager for Derotech a multidiscipline oil and Gas servicing company in Nigeria and Houston It is an independent Nigerian company with partnership with Wellhead Inc Bakersfield, California, USA a pioneer in Wellhead manufacturing company USA.

It has technical partnership with a global leader in offshore and sub-sea engineering and construction. It's sister company, Derotech Offshore Services Limited is in JV partnership for the provision of Ultra Deepwater Rigs. It offers comprehensive engineering service from definition engineering through to construction support.
It also offers exploration Services in Seismic Acquisition, Processing & Interpretation and Supply of Seismic Materials.
 
 
 
K. ANDANI HUSIN-MUBARAK
  Technical Advisor
  Andani obtained his BBA in Finance from Institute Superieur de Gestion/Wales University, in Paris, France in 2007 from where he moved to University Pantheon Assas(Sorbon}  Paris, France where he graduated with M.Sc in  Economics  in 2008.
He also worked with several companies to build his career over the years; he worked with Jules Vern,Jean Baptist Clement a public schools where he taught English in 2007 for 2years, then with Ingenico as a market research on economic intelligence in 2009, he also worked with Agricultural development Bank as a corporate management assistant in retail banking in 2011 for a period of three years . He is currently with Management Aid, a consultancy firm in charge of business solutions, monitoring and evaluation, training and coaching.

Andani ia good at research methods and methodologies, he is effective when it comes to time management, he is also good at tellering and team building; he has experience in Statistical software (SAS, KB Crawl, Website watchers).
Andani’s areas of expertise are ways in which a country can effectively mobilize .

 

 
 
 
DANIEL ATO ACQUAH
  Managing Director & Head Of Operations
  Daniel is the Managing Director and Head of Operations of De-Saah Kharis & Co. He has over 10 years working experience in the construction and real estate industry and has worked on numerous projects in Ghana including the MPS Container Terminal-Tema Port, Ghana Airport phase two project, Regimanuel Gray Limiteds’ (East Airport, Kwabenya Apartments, Klagon and Katamanso Development, etc.
Before joining DE-Saah, he worked with Regimanuel Gray Limited, PW Ghana Ltd, Consar ltd Dizengoff Ghana Limited and Associated Beaver Consult. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Technology & Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and Master’s Degree in theology from Trinity theological seminary Accra. He also has Diploma in Architectural Designs and a recognized Certificate in Project Management. Daniel has professional membership with GIOC, PMI and IET, GHANA

 

 
 
 
SALIM EL MAWAS
  Senior Electrical Engineer
  Salim El-Mawas, Director of Electrical Engineering/Project Manager, is a graduate member of the Ghana Institute of Engineers completion of project management course (GIMPA), he has a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah university of Science & Technology (KNUST), Masters of Science in Building Service Engineering from the University of Brunel, London (UK).

He's had an impeccable career with Dar Al- Hamdasah, a global network of consulting firms. Each world- renowned in its own field of operations, which provides top- grade services in engineering, architecture, planning and project management for civil, industrial and building work. He's currently the senior consultant and electrical Engineer at Undaglow Contractors.

He is also a corporate member of the Ghana Institute of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bahaman, Lebanon.

  Business Development Manager
  Hayde Araujo graduated from the Universidade do Estado do Rio Janeriro (UERT) with a BSC degree Administration and Marketing. She founded her business consultancy service in management, marketing and investments she has a lot of experience, with about 20years experience in her field. She has consulted for business across West Africa, such as oriental energy resources, MTN, Odebreight, Zoomlion, Alma energy etc.

She is currently the Business Development Manager at Undaglow Company Ltd, responsible for strategy and planning.

Mechanical Engineer
Eric has 12 years working experience as a Mechanical Engineer. Prior to joining DE-Saah, he worked with Dizengoff Ghana Limited and Golden Tulip Hotel. Eric has extensively worked on projects including Mascot Hotel - Airport, GCB head office and Ghana Cocoa Board etc. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and he is also a member of Ghana Institute of Engineers.

Principal Civil Engineer
Amos is an experienced Civil Engineer with over 8 years of relevant working experience. He previously worked with Stescon Consult, Regimanuel Gray Limited and Berock Limited. Amos has worked on many projects in the country including Regimanuel Estate, SSNIT Office and SSNIT City Car Park. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Science and Technology. Amos is a member of Ghana Institute of Engineers.

  Executive Secretary
  She obtained High National Diploma in Management of Information Systems from London School of Science & Technology in 2008 after her professional Certificate in Secretarial studies.
She is a Licentiate member of Institute for Management of Information System (IMIS)
Rona has worked with various companies over the years to acquire experience in the administrative field thus her exposure, among others she has been with:

Galileo Trading Ltd  in 2010 as a receptionist/ secretary in charge of Travel Arrangement and Hotel Reservations, Payment of Bills (SSNIT, PAYE, AMA, Telephone Bills, Water Bills, Electricity, Registration of New Dealers Joining the Company, General inquiries from suppliers, competitors, vendors.

She then moved to Cosmo-tech Ghana Ltd in 2013 as a secretary/cashier where she was in charge of the company’s daily income and expenses as well as the administrative field.

She is currently with Undaglow Company Ltd as our Executive Secretary where she is in charge of our administrative works in the construction field.

Rona is familiar with five languages namely English, French, Twi, Ewe and Ga.

RAMZY AHMED
  Financial Director
  Ahmed M. Haruna graduated with BSc in administration, accounting from the University of Ghana Legon in 2002. He offered SAP- FICO R/3 F1from SAP Nigeria (Ltd) Ground Floor Oakland Center, Maitama in 2009, he then chartered accountancy with Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2010. He doubled University of Ghana Legon and University of Waterloo, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada in 2014 by acquiring a Certificate in Business and Entrepreneurship Study in Canada and EMBA - Finance in Ghana. He is currently in his final year of Chartered Institute of Taxation Ghana.
Ahmed is also a member of professional associations such as ACCA (UK), ICAG (GHANA), CPA (Canada),
He worked with the following companies:

Isaka Imoro and Associates as an audit officer in 2003 where he assisted the company with auditing, financial reports of assets and liabilities of the client company

Afro resources interbiz as Accounts and Finance Manager in 2006 for four years where he assisted with financial analysis, raising finance for Aid SA airline in Mali, MAO fundraising and managing of all the company’s financial transactions

He then joined Villawood company Ltd as their Chief Strategic Officer in 2012 where he spent 3 years in charge of many projects such as Development of Business Model for Artisans Association of Ghana, Training auditors and accountants of JA Plantpool on the use of Idea Data analytic software, Training the selected staff of statistics department of the Ministry of Finance of Sierra Leone on the use of Idea Data analytics software, The supply Installation and implementation of Integrated Financial Management Information System, Design of Accounting Procedures Manual, Reviewing Feasibility Studies of Upstream Oil Production on block 10A-10B among others

He also worked with Lion Heart Security as the Chief Executive officer in 2015 where he assisted the company shape up their financial policies and management as a whole

Ahmed M. Haruna is a partner of Acumen Alliance Chartered Accountants, alliance he joined in 2017 and is still serving till date

He is currently with Undaglow Company Ltd serving as our Financial Director

He holds a Certificate in Financial Accounting. 

He has worked with Secpoint Security Compnay as a Control Room Operator for 5 years.

Mr Anthony joined G4S Security Services as Human Resources Officer From 2010 to 2013. 

He also worked with Zein Security Company Ltd from 2014 to 2016 where he served as Hman Resources Officer/ Payroll Officer and Petty cashier before moving to Frontier Security Services Ltd, Undaglow Company and Vertsen Group. 

He is a strategic thinker and gained experience from working with Security Companies for 13 years. He is multi talented, multi-skilled and confident. Anthony has the passion for delivering sensible, pragmatic accounting and HR solutions for today’s progressive organisations. 

He is an effective team player, confident and committed to the task. Anthony comes on board to set its direction and strategy, and support the organisation to achieve them through pro-active, thoughtful, fit for purpose Accounting and HR solutions.
